VAMPIR

VAMPIR is the second original full album, first sold at M3-2015 Spring on 26 April 2015 as ANKM-0021. Disk Union put it into the ordinary trade a fortnight later, on 13 May, at 1,540 yen including tax. The titles run in German and French — "Vampir", "Opfer", "La voix du sang", "Angreifer" — with the English "Phantom Blood" among them, and the vampire holds the whole record together. Where the debut affected had mixed Japanese and English titles, here the language of the titles is itself the frame. These songs stayed in the live set for years. At Toyosu PIT in 2021 the band played "Vampir", "Opfer", "La voix du sang", "Phantom Blood" and "Angreifer" in a single run, and that sequence is the second disc of “XIII” Live at Toyosu PIT. "La voix du sang" also turns up as a live recording on the 2018 EP CADAVER / REVADAC, and acoustically at Zepp DiverCity in 2022. The CD and the streaming release differ. The disc has six tracks, closing with "Vampire"; the streaming release does not carry that song, and it is the five-track streaming release that the player on this page shows. The band's channel has live films of "Phantom Blood", "Angreifer" and "La voix du sang". No studio music video was made for anything on this album.
