Live at Nottingham Rock City

A live album from the band's 1981 concert at Rock City in Nottingham, issued by Spitfire Records in 2001. The band's own discography lists it as Live At Nottingham Rock City, England '81. What it captures is the Spellbound line-up: John Sykes on guitar and Jon Deverill singing. "Take It", "Black Jack", "Tyger Bay", "Mirror", "Gangland", "Silver And Gold" and "Hellbound" come from the album that line-up had just made, mixed in with "Rock 'n' Roll Man", "Insanity", "Euthanasia", "Wild Catz" and "Money" from before them. It is a document of the middle of the stretch in which this band put out three albums in fifteen months. It was reissued in 2018 under a different title, Hellbound Spellbound Live 1981 — the same concert with new artwork. Neither edition is on any streaming service, so this page leads with the sleeve.
