LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Live at Hammersmith was recorded at the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo on 10 December 2017, the London date of the Tour De Prance that followed Pinewood Smile. Cooking Vinyl released it on 15 June 2018 (COOKCD702), and Big Nothing / Ultra-Vybe's Japanese edition came out the same day (OTCD-6434). The players are Justin Hawkins, Dan Hawkins, Frankie Poullain and Rufus Tiger Taylor (Loudwire).
Its nineteen songs reach across all five studio albums and include "Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)". The Japanese label introduced it as the band's first live album released in every format, CD, LP and digital; as Classic Rock noted, their earlier live releases had come out on guitar-shaped memory sticks holding recordings from the Blast Of Our Kind tour. When pre-orders opened on 25 April, "Buccaneers Of Hispaniola" and "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" were released as instant downloads (Blabbermouth).
It came out between the end of the North American tour, in Mexico City on 4 May, and support slots for Hollywood Vampires in June and for Queen in Glasgow and Dublin in July. It reached number 47 on the UK albums chart and number 1 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. The running order here is the original's as printed.
