LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
The only studio album Terrorizer made. It was recorded in May 1989 at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida, produced by Morbid Angel's David Vincent — who also played bass on it — and engineered by Scott Burns. Accounts put the recording and mixing at two or three days; the rehearsals beforehand took longer than the sessions did.
The line-up was Oscar Garcia on vocals, Alfred Estrada on bass, Jesse Pintado on guitar and Pete Sandoval on drums, Sandoval leaving for Morbid Angel immediately afterwards. Sixteen songs run to under thirty-five minutes, and the speed of the opening run from "After World Obliteration" into "Fear of Napalm", together with the way political language is delivered in short bursts, set the measure for grindcore on the American side.
Earache Records issued the 12-inch, MOSH 16, in November 1989. The running order here is the original's as printed.
