Play to Win, the sixth album, was released by their own label on 26 October 2018. Self-released as it was, it was nominated for the JUNO Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year — the Canadian equivalent of a Grammy.
The verdict was unambiguous. Heavy Music HQ called it their best record since City of Gold and concluded that every fan of straight-up hard rock and metal needed to own it. New Noise wrote that you would be hard-pressed to find a catchier slice of fine cheddar that year. That you can hear anything from Dokken to Metallica in it was the common formulation.
