LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
The fifth album was released by Carrere in March 1983 and is the first with Nigel Glockler on drums. It was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia, in the autumn of 1982. It reached fifteen in Britain, went to number one on the metal charts in Sweden, Norway, France and Germany, and sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide — their best-selling record. In the United States it entered the Billboard 200 at 155, the band's first appearance on that chart. The single "Power and the Glory", issued in April, reached thirty-two in Britain. It is the album that put Saxon alongside Iron Maiden and Judas Priest as one of the leading metal acts in Europe. The running order given here is the original pressing's.
