Sin-Decade

Sin-Decade was released by Columbia on March 26, 1992, the fourth studio album. After Jump the Gun the band had come close to folding, leaving only the founders, Ken Hammer and Ronnie Atkins. The two rebuilt around drummer Michael Fast and bassist Kenn Jackson, and this is what that line-up made. Flemming Rasmussen, who had handled part of Future World and is best known for his Metallica records, produced — his second time with the band. The eleven songs begin bluntly with "Running Out" and "Who Said Money," the title track fourth. The closer, "Please Don't Leave Me," is a cover of a John Sykes song, and it was revisited in another form on Stripped the following year. For a record made immediately after most of the band was replaced, it sounds entirely certain of itself. That rhythm section stayed for more than a decade and gave Pretty Maids their second period of stability.
