Electrified

Electrified is a work on which PINK CREAM 69 combined powerful vocals, low-slung guitar and open choruses. The songs sound hard, then open wide into clear melody in the choruses. The balance of heaviness and melodic sense is good, and the playing has a firm drive. On “Shame,” “Break the Silence,” “Electrified” and “Higher Kind of Life,” heavy riffs and open melody join ideally. Songs like “Stranger in Time” and “Rocket Ride” breathe the band’s full playing too. Even within the hard sound, a stance of always valuing melody runs consistently. Letting you fully savor the orthodox appeal of melodic hard rock, it is a powerful record conveying the fullness of the Readman lineup.
