ØCTAVE is PaleNeØ's first mini album, self-produced and released on June 16, 2024 with the catalogue number PNO-001. It was sold only at the venue and by mail order on the day of the band's first-anniversary headline show, and the pressing of 500 sold out immediately; the show itself, at Shinjuku ANTIKNOCK in Tokyo, was full. The obi strip asked whether the band was merely cute or the real thing. Seven songs: “PANORAMA,” “MAZE,” “Fantasia No. 1 in C-sharp minor ‘Melody Stealer’,” “Elegy of Monopoly,” “Schizoid,” “In the Aquarium” and “Moment.” It gathers the songs put out as digital singles during the band's first year alongside pieces recorded here for the first time, and its title is the interval of an octave. The video for “Fantasia No. 1” appeared on June 7, ahead of the release, and a live performance video of “Moment.” followed on August 31. The digital edition arrived on June 9. Having sold out, the record stayed out of reach for a long time — until July 2025, when all seven songs were included as a 24-bit remaster on the second disc of the limited edition of the band's second album, FORTISSIMØ.
