This is the first full-length album made as a trio and the eighth in all. It was released on 25 July 2002 with the catalogue number WINN-82109, on 30min. Records through the Warner Indies Network. Two EPs had come before it: Volume One in 2001 and Play Loud EP in 2002. Fourteen songs is a high count, but each one is plainly built. The record opens with Round 1 and ends with Five-0-Three. Yoshihiro Yasui sings, with Yosuke Abe and Shinya Tange behind him, and the sound of these years is better described as heavy rock than held inside the frame of metal. Looking back, the band have said that the change forced by Hashimoto's departure was one they needed; had the four of them carried on unchanged, they might have broken up instead. The records of this period are best heard as work made inside that change. The running order here is as printed on release.
