LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
It was recorded mainly at Rockfield Studios in Wales, with the mellotron added at Junkmail in Stockholm, the Hammond organ at Atlantis in the same city and the strings at Angel in London. Mikael Akerfeldt and Tom Dalgety produced it and Steven Wilson mixed it. It is the first studio album with Joakim Svalberg, who took the keyboard seat after Per Wiberg left in 2011. Akerfeldt said of it that he wanted to make something more melodic, with stronger vocal lines and more melody throughout. Europe had it on 22 August 2014, Japan on 20 August and the United States on 26 August. The running order here is the original's as printed.
