LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
It was recorded at Backstage Recording Studios in England with Andy Sneap producing — the first Nevermore album he looked after from beginning to end, after the criticism the previous record's sound had drawn. Warrel Dane sings, Jeff Loomis and Steve Smyth play guitar, Jim Sheppard bass and Van Williams drums.
Eleven songs, fifty-seven minutes, closing on the eight-minute-fifty-five title track. Loomis's writing for the seven-string guitar reaches one of its peaks here.
The Japanese edition came out on 26 October 2005 on Metal Frontier (KICP-1103) and King Records reissued it on 7 October 2015 (KICP-3340). The record is not in the band's Spotify discography and the entity that does exist there plays none of its tracks, so this page leads with the sleeve instead of a player. The running order here is the original's as printed.
