LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Lemmy and Phil Campbell never warmed to the final mix Bill Laswell delivered for Orgasmatron, the band's camp say, feeling some of its power had gone, and for the album's fortieth anniversary the idea of a remix went to Cameron Webb, the producer of six Motörhead studio albums from Inferno to Bad Magic. Webb says he opened the original 24-track tapes meaning to bring out the bass and define the guitars while respecting the work of Laswell and of engineer Jason Corsaro.
BMG's two-CD media book (6426681) and three-LP bookpack, both dated 6 November 2026, set Webb's remix of the nine songs beside the original album, taken from the original tapes and cut at half speed. The anniversary master is followed by two 1985 studio rehearsals, two 1985 outtakes and an alternate "Claw", the remix by the band's 1986 session for BBC Radio 1's Friday Rock Show; a single transparent-violet LP holds the original album alone. This is the record Lemmy made as a four-piece with Würzel, Phil Campbell and Pete Gill, first issued by GWR in 1986.
Neil Perry tells the story of the album with rare photographs and memorabilia, and the remixed title track came out first as a lyric video. Twenty-eight tracks.
