Kiss of Death (20th Anniversary Edition) marks twenty years since the studio album of 2006. BMG issued it on 3 July 2026 as a two-disc digipak import, catalogue number 6424429, with a double LP cut at half speed alongside it.
Disc one holds the album's twelve songs plus three tracks the CD alone carries. Disc two is the band's 2007 appearance at the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands, which the label describe as taken from a previously unreleased radio broadcast. Twenty-seven tracks in all.
While the edition was being prepared, on 13 March 2026, Phil Campbell died; he had played guitar in the band from 1984 until it ended. The lyric video for "God Was Never on Your Side" and the Lowlands performance of "Be My Baby" were both released ahead of it on the band's own channel.
