Kiss of Death

Kiss of Death is a studio album released on 29 August 2006, issued by Steamhammer of Germany as SPV 99910 CD Ltd. and SPV 99912 CD and by Sanctuary in the United States as 06076-84784-2. The players are Lemmy Kilmister on bass and vocals, Phil Campbell on guitar and Mikkey Dee on drums. The album itself runs to twelve songs. Cameron Webb produced it, as he had Inferno before it, recording at Paramount and NRG in Hollywood and Maple Studios in Costa Mesa. Mike Inez of Alice in Chains guests on "Under the Gun", and C.C. DeVille of Poison plays the solo on "God Was Never on Your Side", which also carries backing vocals by Zoltán Téglás. It reached No. 45 on the Official Albums Chart. The edition now streaming adds "R.A.M.O.N.E.S. (2006 Version)" as a thirteenth track. Victor issued the Japanese pressing on 21 September 2006 as VICP-63608. An official music video was made for "Be My Baby". In July 2026 BMG released a twentieth-anniversary edition, pairing a half-speed remaster from the original tapes with the band's 2007 set at the Lowlands Festival.
