Shoot Shoot Shoot

"Shoot Shoot Shoot" is the METALVERSE single that follows "GIZA" in May 2026 and "OMIKUJI" in September, and the opening theme of GROTESQQQUE, an original animated film in three parts directed by Atsushi Nishigori and animated by CloverWorks, with a cinema release date of 6 November 2026. The song's place in the film was announced on 5 July. The words are by LEE LAB and MIC, the music by LEE LAB and the arrangement by tatsuo; the label is Verse By Verse Music (Sony Music Labels). The title track has been streaming since 23 October 2026, and on the same day Aniplex, one of the film's producers, published a collaboration video cut from one of the film's three parts on its official channel. The CD's release date is 4 November 2026, also the date of the Instrumental ver.'s digital release. The CD has three editions: the standard edition (KSCL-3686) holds the song and its Instrumental ver.; the first-press limited edition (KSCL-3685), in a 7-inch paper sleeve, adds Guitar less, Bass less and Drum less versions; and the fully limited edition (KSCL-3683), a 12-inch paper sleeve with a T-shirt, pairs the song with its Anime ver. and Instrumental ver. Both limited sleeves carry an illustration the director drew for them; the standard sleeve sets the title at the centre of colourful geometric shapes. METALVERSE also played the song at METALVERSE #3 - GARDEN OF EDEN, the headline show at Spotify O-EAST in Shibuya on 9 May 2026. The Blu-ray of that show, GARDEN OF EDEN, shares the single's release date, and "Shoot Shoot Shoot" is the last of its eleven songs.
