Warheads on Foreheads marks MEGADETH's 35th anniversary with thirty-five tracks Dave Mustaine chose himself, on three discs. It came out worldwide on 22 March 2019 as a triple CD, a four-LP set and a digital release. The selection runs across the band's whole studio career, from the 1985 debut Killing Is My Business..., released on the independent Combat Records, to Dystopia (2016), whose title track won the 2017 Grammy for Best Metal Performance, and it includes "Angry Again", the band's song for the soundtrack of Last Action Hero.
Blabbermouth reports Mustaine explaining the title as an American military term for hitting a target precisely. This Japanese edition, UICY-15809/11, is on SHM-CD, a format used in Japan only, with notes by Masa Ito and the lyrics in translation. Thirty-five tracks in all.
