Released on April 25, 2025, Unatoned is MACHINE HEAD’s eleventh studio album. Carrying forward the renewed force of ØF KINGDØM AND CRØWN, it favors immediate impact over an overarching concept: this is a record driven by the band’s present-tense need to move. Across twelve tracks and roughly forty-two minutes, Robb Flynn’s urgent singing and roar, heavyweight riffs, and tightly interlocked rhythms create an atmosphere that refuses to stand still. “ATØMIC REVELATIØNS,” “UNBØUND,” and “ØUTSIDER” put groove-metal pressure and large, live-ready hooks in the same frame. “ØUTSIDER,” written as an anthem for people cutting toxic relationships loose, also clarifies the larger emotional current: pain is acknowledged, then turned toward release.
