PANDEMONIUM

Pandemonium is the sixteenth Loudness album, released on 21 November 2001, only eight months after Spiritual Canoe. All the music is credited to Loudness collectively and all the lyrics to Minoru Niihara. The speed of the work reflects the simple fact that the four were playing together regularly again. Neither of the two albums made straight after the reunion tries to reproduce the 1980s; both ask instead what these four players sound like now. The release came through Columbia Music Entertainment, putting the band back, in label terms, on the same line as its first three records.
