KING OF PAIN

King of Pain is the twenty-third Loudness album, released by Tokuma Japan Communications on 19 May 2010. It was the first full-length record with Masayuki Suzuki on drums. Akira Takasaki later said the album had been made with the intention of putting Suzuki forward. Where The Everlasting had been completed from Munetaka Higuchi's existing tracks, this is the first album written and recorded from scratch by the new line-up. It reached No. 21 on the Oricon chart. Takasaki, Niihara, Yamashita and Suzuki have remained the band's line-up ever since, into the 2020s.
