Live from the Guild Theatre

Live from the Guild Theatre documents one night — 10 July 2025, at the Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, California — on both audio and video. The show had been built as a launch party for Leopard Skin, the studio album Cleopatra had released that April. The band played as Phil Lewis on vocals, founder Tracii Guns and Ace Von Johnson on guitars, Johnny Martin on bass and touring drummer Shawn Duncan. The set crosses every period in a single evening: "Sex Action" and "Electric Gypsy" from the 1988 debut; "I Wanna Be Your Man", "Never Enough", "The Ballad of Jayne" and "Rip and Tear" from Cocked & Loaded (1989); "Over the Edge" from Hollywood Vampires (1991); "Speed" from The Missing Peace (2017); "Cannonball" from Checkered Past (2021); "Like a Drug" from Black Diamonds (2023); and "Taste It", "Hit and Run" and "Lucky Motherfucker" from the new record. A theremin jam and a guitar solo each stand as tracks of their own, which says a good deal about what kind of concert album this is. Cleopatra issued it at home on 3 July 2026 on CD, CD with DVD, double vinyl, cassette and digital, and a Blu-ray of the same concert followed on 4 September. The Japanese edition, CLO7116CDJ, is an import pressing with an obi strip dated 11 July. Three live singles came ahead of it — "Electric Gypsy" on 3 June 2026, "Never Enough" on 16 June and "The Ballad of Jayne" on 23 June — two of them with official video. Seventeen songs.
