Fatal Paradox

Fatal Paradox is Hatebreed's ninth studio album and their first in six years, following 2020's Weight of the False Self. BLKIIBLK Records releases it overseas on 6 November 2026; a Japanese edition has not been announced. Zeuss, the producer the band has worked with for years, is behind the desk again. Eleven songs run about thirty-five minutes, built as always around Jamey Jasta's shouted delivery and the mosh parts the band made its name on. The advance track "Kill Count Increase" is a sprint of an opener that stops short of two and a half minutes and shows no sign of a six-year gap. John Tardy of Obituary guests on "Sacrifice Season", "Make The Demons Obey" arrived as a single back in July 2025, and the closing "Poison Planet" is a cover of early Corrosion Of Conformity, from 1984's Eye for an Eye, that points straight back at the band's hardcore roots. It was written and recorded after founding bassist Chris Beattie's 2024 departure and through guitarist Wayne Lozinak's temporary absence and return — a record of where Hatebreed stands right now.
