- A paper sleeve, with a written commentary and translated lyrics. LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
"Perhaps" arrived without warning in August 2023, the first new Guns N' Roses song since "Hard Skool" in 2021. It went out as a worldwide digital release, and the only physical form was a limited seven-inch sold through the band's own site, so there was no CD on a shelf anywhere.
Japan alone changed that. Universal Music Japan decided on a general release, pressed it as an SHM-CD, and coupled it with the other new song, "The General", for a two-track single issued on 20 December 2023 as UICY-5140. Musicjapanet lists the specification: SHM-CD, a written commentary and translated lyrics, paper sleeve. About eight minutes of music, and the only way these two songs can be bought as an object.
"Perhaps" has an official music video on GunsNRosesVEVO and "The General" one on the band's own channel.
The player on this page holds "Perhaps" alone. The Japanese CD has two songs; the digital releases are two separate singles, and the player points at the title track.
