When Legends Rise

When Legends Rise is the seventh album, taking in wider melody and atmosphere around a core of heavy groove. Having moved from Universal to BMG in 2016, it was made with producer Erik Ron. Beyond songs that push with a strong beat, there are songs using keyboards and quiet introductions, creating new space in the band's sound. Keeping its longtime style while naturally widening its range. "Bulletproof" and "When Legends Rise" are vivid in their pairing of thick guitar and memorable choruses, both becoming among the band's biggest hits. The emotional ballad "Under Your Scars" shows a new side. The songs are arranged as modern rock, but their native firmness and groove remain at the base. It topped Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart.
