Best Of (Volume 1)

Best Of (Volume 1) is a compilation issued by Better Noise Music on 18 July 2025. The Japanese CD carries the catalogue number STCD-0019 and JAN 4571524910213. Fourteen of its seventeen tracks are marked '2025 VERSION'; the remaining three are live recordings. The selection is built around 2011's American Capitalist and the two 2013 volumes of The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell. 'Under and Over It', 'Coming Down', 'Battle Born', 'Lift Me Up', 'Wrong Side of Heaven' and 'Remember Everything' are the songs that did the band's numbers on radio and streaming in those years. Three covers say something about the shape of that catalogue: Bad Company's 'Bad Company', the traditional 'House of the Rising Sun' and the Offspring's 'Gone Away', all of them songs an audience already knows. Maria Brink of In This Moment appears on 'I Refuse'. The last three tracks are live — 'Trouble', 'Welcome to the Circus' and 'The Bleeding', which therefore appears twice, once in each form.
