Still Raging - 20th Anniversary Show: Live at Principal Club Theater

Gus G, who leads Firewind, is one of heavy metal's better-known guitarists -- his work with Ozzy Osbourne's band, with Dream Evil and with Arch Enemy saw to that. This film is the concert marking twenty years of the band he started in 2002. It was shot on 1 October 2022 at the Principal Club Theater in their native Greece, the same room where they filmed Live Premonition in 2008. Fourteen years later, the same stage. The set leans on the 2020 self-titled album but works in what each era is remembered for: "Between Heaven and Hell", "Mercenary Man", "Few Against Many", "Falling to Pieces". Twenty pieces including a drum solo, arranged to take stock of the whole twenty years. Gus G's playing is the obvious draw, but the other is Herbie Langhans, the newly arrived singer known from Avantasia and elsewhere, who is very strong throughout. Petros Christo plays bass and Johan Nunez drums. AFM Records released it on 1 September 2023; Ward Records' Japanese edition, with a Japanese essay and Japanese subtitles, followed on 27 October, either as the Blu-ray alone or as a three-disc Blu-ray + 2CD set.
