Burning Earth

LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Burning Earth is a work on which FIREWIND, using thick riffs, fast rhythm and gorgeous guitar leads, made heavy, aggressive power metal. While the songs have technique, they always emphasize the push of the rhythm and the melody of the choruses. Advancing a step from the debut, it is the second album that made the band’s sound more solid. On “Steal Them Blind,” “Burning Earth” and “The Fire and the Fury,” there is guitar melodic sense within a hard sound image, and the playing does not lose heat. Songs like “I Am the Anger,” “Brother's Keeper” and “The Longest Day” breathe the band’s full playing too. Gus G.’s guitar skillfully uses speed and lyricism differently. It is a record with a clear band core that connects to later development.
