Hold Your Fire

Hold Your Fire is a work on which FIREHOUSE carefully built thick guitar riffs, clear choruses and C.J. Snare’s high, soaring singing. Bill Leverty’s guitar gives the songs a hard core while also making a soft expression in ballads. Made following the debut’s success, it is a second album of a fulfilling period. On “Reach for the Sky,” “When I Look Into Your Eyes” and “Rock You Tonight,” the songs have both strength and accessibility. In particular, the ballad “When I Look Into Your Eyes” became a big hit. Songs like “Sleeping With You” and “Talk Of The Town” breathe the band’s full playing too. One can straightforwardly savor the appeal of arena rock. It is a full record that boasts completion not inferior to the debut.
