LINER NOTES

Digimortal came out on 24 April 2001 on Roadrunner, whose Japanese edition carries fifteen tracks as RRCY-11134. It was recorded between 30 September and 4 November 2000 at Ocean Studios in California and Armoury Studios in Vancouver, and produced by the band with Rhys Fulber.
Burton C. Bell sings, Dino Cazares plays guitar, Christian Olde Wolbers plays bass and sings backing vocals and Raymond Herrera plays drums. B-Real of Cypress Hill appears on the eighth song, "Back the Fuck Up", the only piece on the record not written by the band alone.
The title shortens Digital Mortality, and the album closes the line that runs through Demanufacture and Obsolete, in which the man and the machine become one thing.
It reached number thirty-two on the American Billboard 200, seventeen in Canada and number one on the independent albums chart, while the single "Linchpin" reached thirty-one on the mainstream rock chart. About 152,000 copies had sold by March 2002.
Eleven songs; the running order here is that of the standard Roadrunner pressing, RR 8561-2.
