LINER NOTES
LANGUAGE
Aggression Continuum came out on 18 June 2021 on Nuclear Blast, produced by Damien Rainaud, with the Japanese edition arriving the same day on Chaos Reigns as GQCS-91051. It was made across four years: the vocals were recorded in 2017 and the drums and the mix were finished in 2020 and 2021.
Burton C. Bell sings, Dino Cazares plays guitar and bass, Mike Heller plays drums and Igor Khoroshev adds keyboards and arrangements. Bell left the band in September 2020, before the record appeared, so the album carries the voice of a singer who had already gone; his parts had been finished three years earlier. The delay came from the court case over the right to the band's name, brought by Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde Wolbers.
Four songs went out ahead of it: "Disruptor", "Fuel Injected Suicide Machine", "Recode" and "Monolith".
It is the first Fear Factory album since their 1992 debut to miss every American Billboard chart. Ten songs; the running order here is that of the standard Nuclear Blast pressing.
