Out of This World

Out of This World is the fourth album on which EUROPE stepped into more refined arena rock through grand keyboards, soaring vocals and vivid guitar. The songs are flashy, but the core of the rhythm and riffs is firm. In place of John Norum, Kee Marcello joined as guitarist, bringing new color. From the strong hook of “Superstitious” to the ballads, the album evokes a wide space. In particular, “Superstitious” became one of the band’s signature hits. Songs like “Let the Good Times Rock,” “Open Your Heart” and “Sign of the Times” breathe the band’s full melodic sense too. With new guitar color added, greatly foregrounding the band’s melodic appeal, it is a record that also achieved great commercial success.
