Ghost Sequence

Ghost Sequence is a single by East Of Eden, the five-piece led by a violin, and its title song is the opening theme of the TV anime 『とある暗部の少女共棲』. It is the band's first anime tie-up, announced on 3 July 2026 at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO), the last night of the East Of Eden Zepp Tour 2026 ~Rising~ for the EP Rising In Bloom; "ONE WAY" was revealed the same night. The anime, part of Kazuma Kamachi's 「とある」 series, began broadcasting on 9 October 2026, and the title song was released to digital services on 17 October with a lyric video. Ryutaro Fujinaga of the creative team Elements Garden wrote the words and music of the title song and arranged it. Ayasa describes it as a tense, heavy sound carrying the wish to keep moving forward while protecting one's own present in a harsh reality. "ONE WAY", the second song, is new and used in the series' gaming machine 「e一方通行（アクセラレータ）最狂」; Mami Kawada, who has written many of the series' songs, wrote the lyrics, and East Of Eden with Mao Yamamoto composed and arranged it. "Evolve (English Version)" is the band's 2023 debut song, recorded again by the present five members with lyrics entirely in English, which the label aims at listeners abroad. Warner Music Japan issues it in two editions: the regular one (WPCL-13843) holds the three songs and an instrumental of each, six tracks, and the anime edition (WPCL-13844) the title song, its TV-size edit and an instrumental. The anime edition's sleeve is a newly drawn picture of Shizuri Mugino, one of the series' main characters. The band is Ayasa on violin, MINA on bass, Akane Minato on vocals, MIZUKI on drums and Yuki on guitar.
