The CD Boxset: Volume Three is the third box in DEF LEPPARD's series of their complete recordings, and it covers the 2000s on six CDs. UMe and Virgin released it on 11 June 2021. X (2002), Yeah! (2006), the band's first album of covers, and Songs from the Sparkle Lounge (2008) are followed by three discs Joe Elliott compiled for this set, B-Sides, Yeah! II and Yeah! Live: seventy-seven tracks in all.
Yeah! II gathers studio covers from across the band's career, and Yeah! Live sets the live tracks of Yeah! beside previously unreleased live covers from thirty years, among them "Elected" from Tilburg in 1987 and "Now I'm Here" from the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley in 1992. Ronan McHugh and Joe Elliott mastered the albums at Joe's Garage, and each comes in a card sleeve reproducing its original packaging. The rigid box holds a hard-backed book with Ross Halfin's photographs, notes by Classic Rock's Paul Elliott and introductions from the band.
