It came out on 21 March 2025 on Napalm Records, with Ward Records issuing the Japanese CD (GQCS-91578) the same day with translated lyrics and a commentary booklet. Scott Atkins produced it, and it was recorded at the band's home Grindstone Studios in Suffolk between May 2023 and July 2024.
It is the first Cradle of Filth album with the guitarist Donny Burbage and the last with Marek "Ashok" Šmerda. Zoe Marie Federoff plays keyboards and sings the female parts, the only studio album she appears on.
Three songs were given official videos ahead of it: "Malignant Perfection", "Demagoguery" and "White Hellebore". Nine tracks, 56 minutes and 13 seconds.
