Generection

The fourth studio album and the second with Eugent Bushpepa. Reigning Phoenix Music issues it worldwide on 11 September 2026; the physical edition is a double digipak whose second disc is the whole of Live at Hallenstadion Zurich, the nine-song live album that had appeared digitally the year before. Ward Records handles Japan as GQCS-91785~6, with a Japanese booklet and no Japan-only bonus track. The label describes the record as built on a foundation of unreleased tracks, with the whole band writing more of it than before, heavier and harder than what came earlier, and an analogue-minded mix as its defining quality. "Howling At The Moon" reaches back much further than these sessions: Leo Leoni says in the video's own description that it began as an idea Jgor Gianola and the late Steve Lee had been keeping for Gotthard in the early nineties, and that it resurfaced while this album was being made. Two songs went out ahead of it, "Generation Rock" on 2 July 2026 and "Howling At The Moon" on 7 August. The track list is not agreed across sources. The band's own news, Ward Records and Tower Records all give the physical disc one as ten songs, and that is the list here; the digital album runs eleven, adding "Lady Marmalade", which Reigning Phoenix Music's own artist page marks digital only. The album is not out yet, so this page leads with the sleeve rather than a player.
