Overturn The Doom

Overturn The Doom, issued by MOVEment Records on December 18, 2013 (catalog number DQC-1196), is BRIDEAR's first mini album. It came a little over a year after the band formed in Fukuoka in 2012, following the March single "Thread of the Light / Roulette." Seven tracks: "New Era," "Pray," "Thread Of The Light (album ver.)," "Imitation," "Another Name," "Voice Is To Silence" and "Wing Of Hope" — the third being the album version of the single. Video for "Thread Of The Light" appeared in June 2013 and for "Pray" in June 2014. How much of this material stuck is easy to check against 2025's Reborn 2013-2016: two of the six songs the current members chose to re-record, "Pray" and "Wing Of Hope," come from here. Twelve years on, they were still being played.
