BARYTE, released by BAKU-ON.ca on March 23, 2016 (catalog number RADC-090), is BRIDEAR's first full album — arriving four years after the band formed, by way of two singles and the Overturn The Doom EP. Eleven songs: "Marginal Lie," "Scream," "Rebirth," "No Salvation," "Hakoniwa," "My Heart Sigh," "Set Me Free," "Traces of Tears," "Skew Lines," "End of Sorrow" and "Light in the Dark." Two of them, "No Salvation" and "Light in the Dark," are re-recordings from the double A-side single of October 22, 2014. An album trailer went up on March 8, ahead of release. How much of the band's early identity sits here is easiest to read off a later record: of the six songs the current line-up re-cut for 2025's Reborn 2013-2016, four — "Marginal Lie," "SCREAM," "Rebirth" and "Light In The Dark" — come from this album.
