Liner Notes
From Hell with Love arrived on 8 February 2019, again on Nuclear Blast. It had been recorded the previous year at Sound Quest Studio in Helsinki. Anton Kabanen produced, recorded and mixed it alone, and Emil Pohjalainen mastered it at Amethyst Sound Productions — an arrangement that has not changed since. The drum stool had. Sami Hänninen, there from the start, left in 2017 and Atte Palokangas took over; behind Hänninen's departure were changing circumstances in his life and a nerve problem in his left hand.
Two covers appear. One is Motörhead's "Killed By Death," out of respect for Lemmy Kilmister, who died in 2015 around the time this band was coming into being. The other is "No Easy Way Out" from Rocky IV. The opener, "Cry Out For A Hero," takes its cue from the 1980s anime Fist of the North Star, and "Die By The Blade" is another Berserk song — releasing it early convinced fans the manga would run through this record too. The video for the title track came out on Valentine's Day. It went to number one in Finland and the top ten in Germany, and it too went platinum. The first European headline tour began on 20 February, playing to around a thousand people a night.
