ENERGETIC

ENERGETIC is a single released by Pony Canyon on 24 June 2026. It is BAND-MAID's first single in four years and seven months — the gap since Sense — and in between the band put out the albums Unleash and Epic Narratives and the EP SCOOOOOP, so the choice of the single format is itself notable here. The title track leads with a danceable beat and a sense of momentum that does not let up, and an official music video arrived alongside it. The writing BAND-MAID has built up since the middle of the 2010s — a hard guitar riff and a pop vocal melody sharing the same bar — leans here toward groove rather than speed. The two coupling songs are 'Days' and 'CAGE'. Three songs across roughly eleven minutes matches the shape of the band's singles across the past decade: a title track at the centre, with the other songs deliberately different in character. There are two first-press limited editions, both released on the same day: CD+Blu-ray (PCCA-06484, in a digipak) and CD+DVD (PCCA-06485, in a sleeve case). The video disc carries 22 songs from BAND-MAID ZEPP TOUR 2024 TOKYO, recorded on 26 November 2024, which is close to the running order of a standalone live release. The standard edition is CD only, PCCA-06486, at 1,650 yen including tax.
