LEGEND - METAL FORTH

LEGEND - METAL FORTH (BMW FOX RECORDS / Amuse, 23 December 2026) documents BABYMETAL's stand at Saitama Super Arena on 10 and 11 January 2026. The shows were the Japanese date of the SPECIAL ARENA SHOW series on the band's METAL FORTH world tour, after the O2 Arena in London, Intuit Dome in California and Arena CDMX in Mexico, and they rounded off the fifteenth anniversary of a group formed in 2010. METAL FORTH, the fourth album, released worldwide on 8 August 2025, had reached number nine on the Billboard 200, the first top-ten album there by a Japanese group. The concert ran for about two hours. Two diamond-shaped stages were joined in the middle of the arena floor; the main one, its floor and sides lined with LED screens, belonged to SU-METAL, MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL, and the Kami Band played from the other. The first half was METAL FORTH from start to finish in album order, which meant the first live performances anywhere of "Algorism" and "White Flame". A film tracing fifteen years led into the second half: "BABYMETAL DEATH", "Doki Doki ☆ Morning" and "Megitsune", a medley joining "Catch me if you can", "Awadama Fever" and "Elevator Girl", then "KARATE", with the arena lit by phones held up at SU-METAL's request, and "Gimme Chocolate!!". The anniversary re-recording "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! 15th Night Ver.", whose music video had appeared days before, came next, and "Road of Resistance" closed the night with a wall of death on the floor. The last round of a fan vote, the 15 LEGEND SONGS TOURNAMENT, was taken outside the arena on 10 January, and its result appeared in the closing film. The standard Blu-ray, BMWR-1009 at JPY 8,800 including tax, puts all twenty songs on one disc; the same programme also comes as a full-production limited Blu-ray in an LP-sized jacket (BMWR-1008, JPY 11,000) and a standard DVD (BMWR-1010, JPY 7,700). Members of THE ONE, BABYMETAL's membership site, could order the THE ONE Limited Edition (ONEB-0047, JPY 33,000) between 5 and 19 October 2026: the show over two Blu-ray discs, METAL FORTH DISC and 15 BABYMETAL YEARS DISC, with a two-CD live album, a photo book announced at around 100 pages and two flags.
