IMMORTAL

Immortal is Anthem's eleventh studio album, released on 30 August 2006 by Victor Entertainment as VICP-63550. It runs a little over forty-seven minutes. "Immortal Bind" appeared as a single on 12 July 2006 and opens the album. The song was re-recorded in English for Nucleus in 2019 and issued ahead of that album as an advance single; Victor made an official music video for the original. A European edition followed about a year after the Japanese release, in the autumn of 2007. This was the fourth album by the line-up of Naoto Shibata, Akio Shimizu, Eizo Sakamoto and Hirotsugu Homma, five years after the band reformed, and it left behind several songs that stayed in the set, among them "Soul Motor", "Road To Nowhere" and "Echoes In The Dark" - the last of which Nucleus also revisited.
