Explosive!! -studio jam- is a studio record credited to Anthem featuring Graham Bonnet, issued in 2020 by Ward Records as GQCS-90931. The band's own site gives 16 December as the date of general sale; before that it was available only through Ward Records Direct. The players are Naoto Shibata on bass, Akio Shimizu on guitar, Yukio Morikawa on vocals and Isamu Tamaru on drums, with Graham Bonnet singing. The connection goes back to Heavy Metal Anthem in 2000, and the official site describes the album as an unplanned jam session born of an explosive chemistry built over more than twenty years of friendship. The eight songs are split between the two catalogues: "Gypsy Ways (Win, Lose Or Draw)", "Cryin' Heart" and "Midnight Sun" from Anthem, and from Bonnet's side "Since You Been Gone" and "Lost In Hollywood", both from Rainbow's Down To Earth, among others. The edition with a DVD was sold only through Ward Records Direct and carries the music video for "Cryin' Heart" together with documentary footage of the Tokyo sessions.
