Rebirth

Rebirth is a work on which ANGRA, welcoming new members, again strongly put forth Brazilian rhythmic feel and grand power metal. Dense guitar phrases and high singing give the songs a flamboyant tension. As the title suggests, it is an important record that announces the band’s “rebirth.” On “Nova Era,” “Rebirth” and “Heroes of Sand,” while having the air of a restart, they do not merely reproduce past appeal. Welcoming new vocalist Edu Falaschi, the band entered a new golden age. Songs like “Acid Rain” and “Unholy Wars” breathe the band’s full playing too. With the precision of the ensemble and strong melody, they show the band’s continuity. It is a monumental work that overcame a crisis and achieved a splendid revival.
