PAUL DI'ANNOのアルバム『The Book of the Beast』。IRON MAIDENの最初の2作で歌ったポール・ディアノが、脱退後のソロ名義とKILLERS、BATTLEZONE、WARHORSEでの仕事から選び直した初の決定盤で、CDに全17曲を収める。2枚目のDVDにはライヴ映像5曲、プロモ・ビデオ3曲、アコースティック演奏4曲が入る。先行曲として発表された「Wrathchild」は元DRAGONFORCEのZPサートとのデュエットで、URIAH HEEPのラッセル・ギルブルック（Ds）とTANKのクリフ・エヴァンス（G）が演奏に加わっている。ディアノは深刻な健康問題で車椅子での生活になってからも年に100本を超える公演をこなしており、その半生を追った伝記『The Beast』は発売と同時に音楽とミステリーのチャートで首位に立った。海外ではコンクエスト・ミュージックが2024年9月27日に発売、日本では輸入盤の国内流通仕様として2024年12月14日に品番CNQ666CDDJで出た。
