DORO（ドロ・ペッシュ）の2枚組『Conqueress - Forever Strong and Proud』。女性ヘヴィメタル・シンガーの元祖と呼ぶべき存在で、1980年代に彼女が歌ったWARLOCKはドイツのみならずアメリカのビルボードにもチャートインするほどの人気を誇り、1989年以降は自身の名を冠したバンドを率いてきた。本国ドイツではメタル・ファンでなくとも名を知る国民的スターである。WARLOCK結成の1983年から数えて40周年にあたる年に合わせた本作は、その節目にふさわしい全20曲入りの大作で、ヘヴィかつハードでありながらキャッチーな楽曲が並び、40年シーンを牽引してきた貫禄が歌に表れている。JUDAS PRIESTのロブ・ハルフォードが「Living After Midnight」のカヴァーを含む2曲に参加、BROILERSのサミー・アマラも客演した。ワードレコーズが日本語解説書と歌詞対訳を付けた日本盤を2023年10月27日に品番GQCS-91386で発売した。
