Ozzy / Sabbath - The Ultimate Tribute

Eonian Records, a US label founded in 2008, put this ten-song tribute out on CD worldwide on 10 July 2026; Bit Organization / Eonian Records issue it in Japan on 30 October 2026 as a direct import with Japanese packaging. The material is drawn from Ozzy Osbourne's solo catalogue and from Black Sabbath's. Ronnie Borchert assembled the cast and is credited with A&R, and Tom Frost recorded, engineered and produced the sessions at Frost Recording in El Dorado Hills, California, as well as appearing on drums and backing vocals. The singers rotate from track to track, as do the guitarists: Marq Torien of BulletBoys, Derek Davis of Babylon A.D. and Johnny Riot take two songs each, Shane Tassart, Tim Mercy and Sean Cannon one apiece, and Crazy Train goes to Neil Turbin, who sang on Anthrax's 1984 debut Fistful Of Metal. A video for Flying High Again went up on the label's YouTube channel on 28 May 2026, performed by Torien with Marc "Spyder" Webb on guitar, Borchert on bass and Patrick McQuain on drums. Eonian state that the songs are used under licence and that the recording is independently produced, with no official affiliation to Osbourne or Black Sabbath. Ten songs.
