Endless Thoughts

Rickert G is a one-man melodic death metal project from Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. Metal Archives dates it to 2021, with Rickert G alone on vocals, guitars, bass and drum programming. Wormholedeath describe him as a composer trained at UMICH's Facultad Popular de Bellas Artes who went on to study music production and film scoring. They name Therion, Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Pantera as his starting points and place the album nearer Hypocrisy, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity, Opeth, At the Gates and In Flames. His debut, Endless Thoughts, first appeared as a self-release on 26 April 2021; Wormholedeath issued it internationally on 11 April 2025, with Rickert G credited as producer. The label describe it as a cathartic record about psychological and sexual abuse and the post-traumatic stress that followed, its eight tracks each a mental state or turning point in the protagonist's story; Metal Archives lists the themes as existentialism, realism, psychology and death. A lyric video for "Singularity" followed on 22 April 2025, eleven days after it.
