Deathbringer

Deathbringer is Iron Savior's first album for Frontiers Music Srl, which announced the signing and the record together on 7 August 2026, and it comes as the German band, formed in 1996, marks thirty years. The first song out was "Back From The Fires Of Hell", released as a visualizer that day, its title answering "Through The Fires Of Hell" from Firestar. A video for "The Creature's Tale", a song on the Frankenstein story, followed on 26 August; Sielck says he was really inspired by the 2025 Netflix film, above all by its last part, where the creature narrates. The record is a concept album again. Its enemy is the Shadows, an insect-like race that threatens humankind once more when two hundred years of peace come to an end, and Deathbringer is the colossal ship in which their undying queen keeps her people alive. It is the band's first set of new songs since Firestar in 2023: Reforged – Machine World (2025) completed their re-recordings of the Noise Records years, and Awesome Anthems Of The Galaxy (2026) was an album of cover versions. Piet Sielck, who sings and plays guitar, produced it at his own Powerhouse Studio and also mixed and mastered it. Joachim "Piesel" Küstner plays guitar and Patrick Klose drums, and Patrick Opitz has held the bass since January 2025, when Jan-S. Eckert left at his own request. Frontiers lists thirteen tracks for the CD (FRCD1608), with "No Deal" and a cover of Judas Priest's "Fever" as bonus tracks, for release on 13 November 2026. Avalon / Marquee Inc. issues the Japanese CD, MICP-12051, the same day, adding a fourteenth that no international format carries: Huey Lewis & The News' "Walking On A Thin Line".
