Guitars at the End of the World is a solo album by George Lynch, the guitarist known for his work in Dokken and still busy with Lynch Mob, The End Machine and Sweet & Lynch. It continues from Seamless, which in a career of more than forty years was his first full instrumental record of entirely original material. The playing runs from the shredding he has never lost an edge on to bluesy, melancholy phrasing and heavy, modern groove. Lynch has said he wants to offer something outside what most people expect of him -- an instrumental record that is demanding without being tiring, combative without being self-satisfied, and whose songs stand on their own rather than serving as vehicles for solos. The Japanese edition runs to fourteen tracks, the last of them, "Psycho Beta & Crucible Extended Jam", exclusive to it. Marquee Inc. released it on 22 November 2023 as MICP-11834, after the overseas edition of 8 September. About sixty-six minutes.
