Strike and Kill

DevilDriver were formed in 2002 by singer Dez Fafara, who had previously fronted the nu-metal band Coal Chamber. Strike and Kill is their eleventh studio album and the first since Dealing With Demons Vol. II in May 2023. Napalm Records issued it internationally on 10 July 2026, while Avalon / Marquee Inc. put the Japanese edition out two days earlier, on 8 July 2026, as MICP-12033: one disc running roughly 51 minutes. It is the album that brings founding bassist Jon Miller back into the band. He plays beside Fafara, the guitar pair of Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold, and drummer Davier Ortega Perez. Mangold and Perez produced the record together at Studio Nessa and HaunteDD Studio in California, with the drums tracked by Jason Suecoff at Audiohammer and further drum engineering by Mike Low. Mangold recorded it at both rooms and mixed and mastered it at Studio Nessa. The cover artwork is by Niclas Mortensen. Three songs went out ahead of the album: 'Dig Your Own Grave' on 16 April 2026, 'Dead in the Water' on 3 June, and the title track, whose video appeared in the first days of July. Napalm describe the record as a return to the sound the band started from. Thirteen songs.
